Supported Vehicles Policy

 Please verify Vehicle support BEFORE PURCHASE!

Some older and international toyotas (Right hand drive, JDM, Japan Market) Vehicles or vehicles originally made in Japan and imported to the following(but not limited to) countries : New Zealand, Australia, may have non complaint, non standard, or simply no VIN registered to the vehicles ECM. In these cases these vehicles are currently NOT supported by VF Tuner and VF Tuner cannot be used to tune these vehicles. Please Verify before purchase! Please verify vehicle support before purchase. VF Tuner does not accept returns on our programming kits once they shipped if your vehicle is not supported. Our support list is comprehensive and should be referenced before purchase.

 

 

Discounts Policy

- Discounts can only be used 1 time per check/order

- Discounts cannot be applied to previous orders (shipped or not shipped)

- Discounted items cannot be exchanged.

- Under normal circumstances when VF Tuner has a sale on hardware the hardware will ship AFTER the sale has completed.

- Due to high volume of orders during sales, delays on shipping can be expected.

- All discount sales are final, regardless of shipment status and cannot be returned / discounted / cancelled / refunded / exchanged. Discount must be used at checkout and cannot be applied after the order is placed.

 

Shipping Policy

 

Our standard processing/ship out time frame is 2-7 business days (NOT including actual shipping time - shipping time will be depending on the carrier & distance). Note, sometimes shipments can be delayed due to high volume of orders. We work as quickly as we can to get all orders shipped. Our products are prepared to order from our manufacturer. Therefore, it usually takes about 5-7 days to be processed and shipped out depending on our current stock of items.

Processing and shipping times do not include weekends and holidays, which may delay your order. Other variables out of our control, including inclement weather, may have an impact on shipping times.

You will receive an email containing shipping and tracking information once your order has shipped. If you do not receive the email, please check your junk or spam folders. If you cannot locate the email, send us an email to Support@ovtune.zendesk.com and we will provide you with the shipping information for your order.

Please advise if you need your order by a certain date, contact us BEFORE your order is placed to make arrangements.

If we receive a package back from the shipping carrier due to the address provided being undeliverable, you are responsible for contacting us and paying the full shipping cost for your item to be reshipped. 

 

Cancellation/Return Policy - General

 ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

YOU CANNOT RETURN OR CANCEL ANY DIGITAL ITEM ORDER ONCE IT IS PLACED. THIS INCLUDES:

TUNE PACKS, VF TUNER SOFTWARE, VF TUNER CREDITS, OR ANY OTHER "DIGITAL" OR DOWNLOADABLE PRODUCT.

SALES ARE FINAL AT THE TIME OF ORDER.

It is customer's responsibility to review these term before requesting the cancellation/return. 

Returns are not accepted for the following :

- Unsupported vehicle due to customer not verifying vehicle support

-Unsupported controller due to JDM / Non standard / no VIN ECM/TCM

- Change of mind / before or after the product has shipped

- Customer has sold their vehicle

- Unsupported computer (our software requires WINDOWS)

 

Warranty Information

VF tuner provides a 6 month warranty on all hardware devices from the date of purchase from manufacturer defect or error.
There is no warranties for the following:
- credits / software / licensing / VF Tuner software / Calibration files / and any other electronic "item."

 

 

International shipping policy

We ship our international order via USPS UPS or DHL (optional). Total price in the checkout includes the calculated shipping cost NOT custom duty fees. The custom duty fee and process will be different depends on the country and their system. The receiver will be subjected to the custom duty fee and the process to receive in their country. International invoicing only shows the cost of the HARDWARE, not the software as software is not part of the shipment.

Aftermarket:

None of our products can be used at any time on any emissions control vehicle that is used for anything other than off-road performance or competition use, Emissions Complaince, Emissions Standards, or to bring a vehicle to meet local emissions standards.

- Any files or calibrations are developed only for the exact vehicle and drivetrain that it comes with from the factory.

- Calibrations do not modify or disable any emissions check, component, monitor

- calibrations cannot be modified to disable any reporting component

- calibrations cannot be modified or used for any vehicle except for the intended vehicle, exact ECM, and specifications that came from factory

- calibration tools are for research and development purposes for manufacturers and individuals for the purpose of creating emissions and CARB compliant / EPA compliaint / Local law and regulation complaint calibrations for their products / services

- VF Tuner is a development / Diagnostics tool only.

- VF Tuner requires users to agree and accept policies regarding modification to calibrations and understanding / abiding by local laws in order to use the software
